Deus Ex: Human Revolution Gameplay Goodness

  • I hate to admit this, but I have never played any of the previous Deus Ex games. I constantly read/hear about the praise the first game received; and how the second was a bit of a disappointment to fans of the original. This will all soon change however.

Witnessing the first trailer for Human Revolution back at E3, I knew this would be a game I would one day have in my possession. The layout, graphics, grittiness, story (the tidbits we have been provided), etc. are all stunning. Giddy and excited are both understatements with my hype level for this game. Halo: Reach is the only game I am anticipating more to this point.

Yesterday, a new trailer was released, giving us a good look at some juicy gameplay. If a comparison is to be made, I would say this is looking to be like Metal Gear Solid hopped up on steroids and crack -- has anyone ever tried both of those at the same time? Wouldn't recommend it.

I will let you all be the judge. Enjoy.
