Happy S'mores Day!!

  • Yes, you read that title right my friend. Today, we celebrate the beloved s'more. I hope you know what a s'more is, but for those who have been secluded from society their entire life, I will break it down for you (I am not going to tell you what to buy, you should pick up on that through my step....I hope) the way I prefer to eat them.
    1. You take a graham cracker and break it in half, for two even squares.
    2. Place a piece of Hershey's chocolate bar (hell, put five pieces) on one of the graham crackers.
    3. Roast a good sized marshmallow over a flame (camp fire would be nice).
    4. Now, place the mallow on top of the Hershey's chocolate piece.
    5. Top off this masterpiece with the other half of the graham, and you got yourself a s'more.
    All of this can be done in a microwave as well, but I prefer a fire over a nuke....get it? Cause a microwave nukes it.....huh? Nevermind.

    This post may seem completely random (if you thought that, I succeeded), but finding bizarre holidays/celebrations will be something I post whenever I can. There will be weekly celebrations (i.e. this week is Elvis Week) or daily celebrations/holidays (i.e. like today's post).

    Tidbit: If you can guess what movie this quote is from, I will give you a telepathic five. I will even be providing you the names of the characters interacting with each other (I beg that someone knows this).

    Smalls: Some more of what? 

    Ham Porter: No, do you wanna s'more? 

    Smalls: I haven't had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing? 

    Ham Porter: You're killing me Smalls! These are s'more's stuff! Alrite now pay attention. First you take the graham, you stick the chocolate on the graham. Then you roast the 'mallow. When the 'mallows flaming... you stick it on the chocolate. Then cover with the other end. Then you scarf. Kind of messy, but good!
