Salvia and Zack Pearlman = Win for 'Virginity Hit'

  • I have not personally watched "The Virginity Hit" yet, and do not really plan on it any time soon. I did, however, just recently see one of the stars of the show -- Zack Pearlman (check him out on IMDB or Twitter) -- smoke some salvia and try to promote the show (all at the same time, mind you) on Youtube.

Brief little lesson for you on salvia, or "Salvia Divinorum."

Salvia divinorum (also known as Diviner's Sage, ska MarĂa Pastora, Seer's sage, and by its genus name Salvia) is a psychoactive plant which can induce dissociative effects. Its native habitat is within cloud forest in the isolated Sierra Mazateca of Oaxaca, Mexico, growing in shady and moist locations. The plant grows to over a meter high, has hollow square stems, large leaves, and occasional white flowers with violet calyx. Botanists have not determined whether Salvia divinorum is a cultigen or a hybrid; native plants reproduce vegetatively, rarely producing viable seed.
So there you have it, you can get blitzed out of your mind whenever you damn well please. As of now, salvia is still legal, but we will see how long that continues to last. After viewing this video, I would not be surprised if salvia was made illegal sooner, rather than later.

Video and poll (have you smoked salvia or not?) after the jump.
